Isaac Nichols passed into the presence of the God, whom it had served and glorified for so many years while in this life. The death of Mr. Nichols was not a surprise to his intimate friends, as for weeks it was known that his disease would steadily destroy his frame, and no relief could be found. Patiently, calmly, he bore his afflictions, knowing that all was happiness, peace and joy beyond. He died at his son’s residence, Mr. J.P. Nichols, in the city. Five children survive him, who have the condolences of a large circle of friends. – Griffin Morning Call.
