He had gone hunting and later in the evening was found near a fence, having been killed by the discharge of his gun. The supposition is that the gun was accidentally discharged while Mr. Ogletree was climbing the fence. The deceased was a son of J. T. Ogletree, a prominent citizen of Spalding county.
