Miller Goes to Reward Impressive funeral services for Mr. John David Miller, who died at his home here Wednesday afternoon, were conducted from the Second Baptist church this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. C.B. Bullard, pastor, officiated. He was assisted by Rev. P.H. Hammonds. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery with Haisten Brothers, funeral directors, in charge. Mr. Miller died late Wednesday afternoon at his home at 907 North Thirteenth street. He was a valuable employe of the Griffin Manufacturing company until four years ago, when he retired because of declining health. He suffered a stroke of paralysis about a year ago. He was a member of the Bethany Christian church, and was the son of the late Lemuel and Nancy Starr Miller. Surviving are his widow, Sarah Frances Moore Miller, one son, L.R. Miller, of Griffin; two sisters, Mrs. W.J. Fortson, of Everett, Wash., and Mrs. Mary Smith, of Cornelia, Ga.; and three brothers, W.N. Miller, of Decatur, B.H.
