The Rev. Monroe C. Grant will officiate. She died Friday, (May 11, 1990) at the Living Center of Griffin where she had resided for the past three years. She was a lifelong resident of Spalding County and the Birdie Community. She was born Nov. 24, 1891, daughter of the late Walter Phlem Coleman and the late Mary Elizabeth Hammond Coleman. She was the widow of James Carlton Goodson who died in 1963. She was a homemaker and a former member of the County Line United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children, Mildred and Edward Helms, Vivian and Bill Westmoreland, Reba and Wyman Mathews, all of Griffin; Christine and Wendell Collins of Unadilla, Ga.; grandchildren, Frank Westmoreland, Homer Westmoreland of Griffin, Charles Collins, Ted Collins, Unadilla; Mark Mathews of Atlanta; five great grandchildren, Christy Collins, Carol Collins, Wendy Collins, all of Unadilla, Jason and Will Westmoreland of Griffin; sister, Mrs. Clara Coleman Smith of Griffin; nieces and nephews.
