Smith, died early this morning at her home, 1445 Atlanta Road. She had been in declining health for several months. Mrs. Smith was a life long resident of Spalding County. She was born and reared in the Birdie Community, daughter of the late Mr. Walter Flem Coleman and the late Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hammond Coleman. She was a member of the Damascus Christian Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. R. G. Smith and Mrs. J. C. Goodson, both of Griffin; a brother, Walter Coleman of Sunny Side; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Haisten’s Chapel. The Rev. Norman Polk will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Smith’s body is at Haisten Funeral Home. Additional Comments: Annie Lee Coleman was born December 14, 1893 in the Birdie community of Spalding County, Georgia.
