Rites Saturday For Mr. Smith

Mr. Moses H. Smith, 77, of 1445 Atlanta Road, died at his home Thursday.  His 
death was unexpected.  He owned and operated a grocery store and was a member 
of the Damascus Christian Church.  Mr. Smith was the son of the late Elijah J. 
Smith and the late Aveline Smith.

Survivors include two brothers, T. E. Smith and Grady Smith, both of Griffin; 
and a sister, Mrs. Dan Bell of Camilla, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at Haisten’s chapel Saturday afternoon at 3:30 
o’clock with the Rev. Wiley Virden officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Hill 
cemetery.  Friends may visit the family at the home of Mrs. G. L. Peek, Jr., 
105 Sunset Drive.
