Argus –- Week of November 10, 1881 Zue Dillon Departed this life in Griffin, on Thursday November 3rd, at the residence of Mr. J. O. Stewart, Miss Zue Dillon. That our dear friend is no more on earth, causes deep, and poignant grief, in the hearts of many who knew her well, and loved her fondly. She was a lady of cultivation, manners, beautiful person, native modesty, truthful; and honorable, in the full sense of its meaning, indeed possessing the qualities, that form the character of a true Christian woman. In this village, the years of her earliest childhood were spent, and the recollection of the joys her yearly visits gave; makes us wretched indeed, that she will come to us no more. For twelve weeks she lingered and suffered with typhoid fever, heartrending, to her sisters, and friends, being the fifth occurred in their immediate families, in the last months. Weep no, sorrowing friends, no happier angels throngs the court of heaven than our loved one, who has only gone before us.
