Mrs. W. N. Barfield, a prominent and beloved woman of Sunny Side, died at her home there Wednesday morning at nine o'clock. Mrs. Barfield was stricken with paralysis several years ago and suffered another stroke early Wednesday morning from which she failed to rally. She was the mother of Mr. T. G. Barfield and Mrs. Thomas Gay, both of Sunny Side, and leaves other relatives to mourn her loss. The funeral will be held at the Methodist church at Sunny Side tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock and the interment will be made in the family burying plot.
