Nath Thompson. The many friends of the family were grieved to hear of the death of Mrs. Wilbur Gossett, which occurred morning after a prolonged illness at her home near Midway Sunday. Mrs. Gossett was about twenty-eight years of age and was greatly beloved by all who knew her, especially the people of Midway community among whom she lived. Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by one child and numerous other relatives in different communities, among whom she was popular as a Miss Ray. The funeral services were conducted at Midway Methodist church, Akin district,at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon by Rev. Nath Thompson, pastor of the Griffin circuit, and Rev. J. E. Sammons, pastor of First Baptist church of Griffin, of which denomination the deceased was a devoted member. Four brothers, ?, Claud, Edd, and Jim, and two brothers-in-law, Rev. L. G. Walker, and D.
