Stewart Died at the Home of Her Sister on South Hill Street After Long Illness. Mrs. John O. Stewart died Sunday morning at 6:30 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Mary Anna Camp, of apoplexy, superinduced by Bright's disease. Mrs. Stewart had been in feeble health for several months and had a severe attack two weeks ago, from which she never entirely recovered. Yet her sudden deatlh was unexpected and a great shock to her loved ones and many friends. Mrs. Stewart was formerly Miss Katherine Dillon, of Monticello, a noted beauty of many charms of mind and heart, before her marriage to Mr. John O. Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart moved to Griffin in 1865. Mr. Stewart died nearly twelve years ago and the oldest son, Mr. William Stewart, passed away six years ago this month. Mrs. Stewart was a woman full of Christian graces, with a kind and gentle manner, which endeared her to all who knew her. She is survivedby two sons, Mr. J. B. Stewart, of Atlanta, and Dr. Joseph F. Stewart, of Griffin, a granddaughter, Mrs. Arthur Welling, and great-granddaughter, Katherine Stewart Welling, of Atlanta, one sister, Mrs. Mary Anna Camp, several nieces, Mrs. P. S. Parmalee, Mrs. Will Flemister, Misses Nannie, Kate, and Minnie Camp, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. Stewart has passed her eighty-first milestone in the pathway of life, having lived a long life of usefulness, and one full of good deeds.
