Dickinson died Monday morning at 10 o'clock after an illness of several months from consumption...He has been a resident of this city for about twenty years, having removed here from Upson County where he was born and raised. He served through the late civil war, having enlisted in the service at the age of fourteen years, and made a brave soldier. He was about 45 years of age at the time of his death and leaves a devoted wife and four children...He was a brother-in-law of Hon. J. D. Stewart of this city. Note: William Henry Dickinson (1846 - 1891) is the son of Isaac Dickinson (1795 - 1854) and Susan Mapp (1804 - 1848). He was married to Elizabeth Dickinson, daughter of Clark M.
