Griffin Delegate To Conference Dies

A.P. Patterson, 54, of Griffin, Ga., lay delegate to the North Georgia 
Methodist conference now is session here, died at Wesley Memorial Hospital 
early Sunday morning following an attack of heart disease.

He was prominent in church and civic activities in Griffin and also was one of 
the city’s most beloved citizens.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his widow and one daughter, Miss Mary Leila 
Patterson, of Griffin.  The body was taken to Griffin Sunday, where funeral 
services will take place.
