He was a retired employee of the Crompton-Highland Mill and was a member of the Milner Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wynell Graham Ross of Griffin; four sisters, Mrs. Omie Allen of The Rock, Mrs. Grace Daniel of Macon, Mrs. Louise Weaver and Mrs. Marie Roland, both of Griffin; two brothers, Alton Ross of Griffin and Nall Weaver of Columbus; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Milner Baptist Church. The Rev. Dan Zellner and the Rev. William Key will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Haisten Funeral Home in Griffin until carried to the church 30 minutes prior to the funeral. Friends may visit the family tonight from 7-9 o’clock at the funeral home. Additional Comments: Buel Ross was the son of James Henry Ross and Sudie Elizabeth Harris. Both of which are buried at New Hope Baptist Church in Pike County.
