E. H. Searcy Is Buried In Griffin. Griffin, Ga., April 27- Mrs. William E. H. Searcy, Sr., wife of Colonel William E. H. Searcy, Sr., official court stenographer for the Flint circuit for over a quarter of a century, and mother of Judge William E. H. Searcy, Jr., of the same court circuit, died at her home in Griffin early this morning following a long illness. She was formerly Miss Eugenia Pauline Rogers and was born in Culloden, Ga., being a member of a prominent and influential Georgia family. She had been a resident of this city since 1869. For many years she was a member of the Methodist church, from which the funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The deceased is survived by her husband, Colonel William E. H. Searcy, Sr.; one son, Judge William E. H. Searcy, Jr; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Speer, of Atlanta, and Mrs. Abner Holt, of Barnesville; two brother, Edgar Rogers, Barnesville, and Harry Rogers, of Griffin.
