Obituary of M.E. Strickland 11 Apr 1890 Spalding County, GA The Griffin Weekly News and Sun: April 11, 1890 M.E. Strickland, Jr. was found in his barn near Concord about one o'clock on Wednesday morning with his throat cut, presumably by himself. The deed was done with a grain cutter which he had purchased on Tuesday.
