MORTUARY.

Griffin, Ga., October 28-
Mrs. Emily Weems, one of Griffin's best known and most highly esteemed women, 
died at her home here on East Chapel street, last night, after a lingering 
illness.  The remains of Mrs. Weems will be carried to Forsyth tomorrow for 
interment.  The deceased leaves a brother and sister, Dr. C. E. McCarthy and 
Miss Carrie McCarthy.
