Mrs. J.H. Weems
Buried in Griffin
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Weems, wife
of J. H. Weems who died at the home in Sunnyside
Thursday afternoon was held from the Sunnyside
Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. 
Rev. D. B. Johnston officiated.  Interment was made
in the churchyard

with Haisten Brothers in charge.

Mrs. Weems was one of the most beloved women of
Spalding county, and had been a member of the
Sunnyside Methodist church for several years.  She
was 70 years of age.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. B. C. Reeves, of Manchester, Ga., and
three sons, R. F. Weems, Zebulon, S. S. Weems,
Seattle, Wash., and H. A. Weems of Atlanta, and four
brothers, J. F. Dupree, Brooks, R. H. E. Ellis,
Griffin, J. H. Ellis, Dublin, and Bill Joe Ellis of
Vaughn.
