Carson-Baker

Griffin, Ga., March 21 - Rev. E. W. Hammond of this city united Mr. J. J. 
Carson and Miss Eula Baker in marriage at Woodbury yesterday.  It was a Sunday 
church wedding, but none the less impressive or joyous.  Mr. Carson is the 
landlord at Concord and Miss Baker is one of Pike county's charming young 
ladies.  A number of prominent people from a distance were present to witness 
the nuptials.

This was Mr. Carson's 2nd marriage.  His 1st wife was Amanda F. Myrick (25 Oct 
1845 / Pike Co., Georgia; d.14 May 1896 / most likely in Pike Co., Ga)
