The Griffin News and Sun, June 5, 1891

Griffin,Georgia

There was a very happy marriage at the residence of Mrs. Crittenden in this 
city on Sunday evening at 7 o'clock, the contracting parties being Miss Ellie 
Ellis and Mr. George J. Cunningham, both of this city. Mr. Cunningham is one 
of the popular mail agents of the Central Railroad and is 1st Lieutenant of 
the Spalding Greys. The marriage was a surprise to all their friends.
