The Pike County Journal. Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, April 16, 1897

As we go to press we learn that J.C. Fincher, bookkeeper for Bass Bros., of 
Griffin, Ga., was married to Miss Blanche Bridges, at the home of the bride’s 
in that city yesterday. Mr. Fincher is an old Zebulon boy and his many friends 
extend best wishes.

Last week’s issue of The Journal announced that Mr. J.C. Fincher had married 
one of Griffin’s lovely young maidens. We have since learned that this was 
a mistake and we regret very much that the article appeared.
