The Griffin Daily News. Griffin, Georgia, Sunday Morning, July 29, 1888

Married at the residence of the bride's father, near Erin, at 5 o'clock on the 
26th, Capt. J.B. [Barnes] Towns, of Sanford, Fla., to Miss Emma May Hunter. Miss

Hunter is a charming young lady and quite a belle, and Mr. Towns has secured a 
prize in a companion through life. Capt. Towns is now a resident of Sanford, 
Fla., and a conductor on the J.T.&K.W. RR. We wish them a long and happy life.
