Issue of Friday, December 7, 1877

We copy the following from the Griffin News:

At the residence of the bride's father, on yesterday at 11 o'clock am, Mr. W. 
M. Mickelberry and Miss Dora Sims were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony, 
Dr. J. H. DeVotie officiating.

The attendants were:
Miss Fannie Sims, Mr. H. L. Porter, Miss Ida Mickleberry, Mr. John Sims, Miss 
Alice Matthews,  Mr. R. J. Deane, Miss Lizzie Matthews, Mr. H. J. Simonton, 
Miss Mary White, Mr. J. M. Jones, Miss Georgia Nicholls, Mr. R. (?) F. 
Strickland, Miss L. W. Nelson, Mr. C. A. Mickelberry.

The happy couple and their attendants left on the twelve o'clock train for 
Atlanta.  On arrival in Atlanta they were conducted to the Markbarn (sp ?) 
house, where a magnificent dinner was awaiting them, after which they proceeded 
to the residence of Mr. W. H. C. Mickelberry, where a reception was tendered 
them last night.  May their path in life be a happy one, and may prosperity 
attend them.
