Will Book B Written: 1888 GEORGIA } SPALDING COUNTY } Will of Rhoda H. Doe I Rhoda H. Doe of Said State & County being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament. Item First - I desire that whatever debts I may owe at the time of my death shall be promptly paid by my executor from any funds I may have at said time. Item Second- I give bequeath & devise to my daughter Mollie H. Thompson any & all money that I may have in hand or any fund that I may have in Bank at the time of my death and also the following personal property- two carpets, one bed stead now in my grand son Eddies room - my cooking stove - cooking utensils & kitchen furniture dining table & crockery ware spoons one set of Cane bottom chairs, one marble top stand and any other things of personal property that she may need or select out of my estate Item Third- I give bequeath and devise to my said daughter Mollie H. Thompson the following real estate to wit: A triangular lot fronting on the rail road containing one acre more or less bounded as follows on the north and east by the public road on the south by an alley and on the west by Thirteenth street, and also my one half interest in a half acre in the south east corner of the lot where on I now reside. Commencing at said South east corner at the intersection of Solomon & Twelth street and running west along Solomon Street (105) one hundred and five feet thence North (105) one hundred and five feet thence east (105) one hundred & five feet to twelvth street & thence south to beginning point all of said real estate free from all charge or limitation whatever to her own proper use benifit and behoof. Item Fourth - It is my will and desire that the remainder of my property both real and personal shall be sold by my executor and the proceeds equally divided share & share alike between my sons Benjamin P., Charles R & Edward W. Doe and my daughter Mollie H. Thompson. Item Fifth - It is my will and desire that my daughter Mollie H. Thompson shall occupy the dwelling house free of charge or any rent to my estate from the time of my death until the sale mentioned in item fourth of this will Item Sixth - I here by constitute and appoint Henry C. Burr executor of this my last will and testament this the 18th day of October 1887 RHODA H. DOE Signed declared and published by Rhoda H. Doe as her last will and testament in the presence of this deponent and in the presence of Joseph H. Barnes & J. M. Kelley M.D. who signed the same as witnesses in the presence of said testatrix and in the presence of each other and that at the time of executing said will the testatrix was of sound & disosing mind & memory & executed the same freely and voluntarily Barney C.
