To all people to whome these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that I Mary Godfrey widow in St. Bartholomews Parish in Colleton County in the Province aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand five hundred and Twenty five pounds lawful money of the province aforesd. to me in hand paid by George Godfrey Planter in the parish aforesd. at and before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the sd. Mary Godfrey do hereby acknowledge have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell unto ye said George Seven negroes fifteen head of Cattle Ten head of sheep Two Feather Beds and one infer Ditto one Cloas Press one Desk one Cubbard Four Tables To Table and kitchen furniture and Cedar Chest and two looking Glasses that is to say Seven Negroes Dicks ____ hand and parents Aaniah for one hundred pounds Sheby for two hundred pounds Limas for Forty pounds Tenney for Twenty pounds Cojo for Two hundred and fifty pounds July for Twenty five pounds Two feather Beds and furniture for fifty pounds one Do. for fifteen one Cloaks Press for Ten pounds one Desk five pounds one cubbord five pounds Four Table Ten pounds Table and Kitchen furniture thirteen pounds one Cedar Chest and two Looking Glasses for seven pounds To have and To hold ye sd. Bargain unto the sd. George his Heir Exr. Admrs. and Assigns to his and their own use and uses and as his and their own proper goods and Chattels forever and I the sd. Mary my heirs Exors. Admors. and Assigns the above mentioned Chattels unto ye sd. George his heirs Exors Admors. and Assigns against any person or persons whatsoever shall and will Warrant and for ever defend by these presents In Witness whereof I the sd.
