Company Pay Roll for Nov 21 1814 to Mar 8, 1815 Arrived at Camp Hope (the rendezvous), Feb 7, 1815 Traveling to and from residence: 12 days; distance 180 miles from residence. NOTES: Brice Paul died prior to 1827. He left 'orphan children': Elizabeth Paul who married Lynch Brown Porter, Hester Paul who married Robert Carroll, Rutha Paul who married Matthew Owens, Martha Paul who married Kilby Jones and John F. Paul married Nancy Winnifred Frauser. His eldest daughter was not listed among the orphans, Mary Collins Paul who married Richard T Porter. The orphans were left under the guardianship of John Crutchfield and Issac Hall in Wilkinson County, GA. However, it would appear if Brice Paul traveled 180 miles to Camp Hope he was not living in Wilkinson County at the time of his military service.
