Quite a number of Sandersville citizens witnessed a beautiful phenomenon last Monday morning. There are two cats in Perry, Ga. that are excellent retrievers. Recently Maj. Brunson had been shooting English sparrows in his horse lot. Those cats, by their own motion have learned that the report of a gun means something to their benefit, if properly attended to, Consequently they closely wat the major when he picks up his gun, When he fires they rush out and pick up the bird, whenever he is fortunate enough to kill one. They persistently ckainm and devour every bird they get. These cats respectively belong to Maj. W. Brunson and Mr. C. H. Moore.
