Sad Death of a Young Man.
   A death which saddened this community was that of Mr. Edward Kyle Adams, 
which occurred at the Piedmont sanitarium, Atlanta, Saturday morning at five 
o'clock, where he had been taken for treatment four days before.
   He had apparently been in the best of health until about two weeks ago, 
when he was taken ill with lymphatic leukemia, a very rare disease of unknown 
origin, for which no cure is known by the medical profession.
   Too much cannot be said as to Kyle's fine character, for he was a young man 
of excellent habits and traits that could well be used as an example for all 
young men. He was just approaching his twentieth birthday, having been born 
Oct. 13, 1899, near Poplar Springs Church, Franklin county.
   Owing to his genial nature and fine manly qualities, he was one of the most 
popular Toccoans, and his friends who are numbered by the score, extend their 
heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
   Kyle is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Adams, and four 
sisters, Misses Lou Ella, Grace, Edna Earle and Sarah, all of this city.
   The funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at four o'clock at the 
First Baptist Church, Rev. J. S. Hartsfield, the pastor, officiating. 
Interment was made at five o'clock at the city cemetery, and was attended by 
hundreds of relatives and friends.
   The Record joins the large host of friends in extending sympathy to the 
bereaved family.
