Richard Alan Lee Catoe, 18, of Toccoa, died Sunday, September 17, 2006, in 
Pensacola, Fla.

He was born in Franklin County on February 5, 1988, and was the son of Richard 
Catoe, Henderson, Tenn., and mother and step-father, Michael and Janet Fleeman 
McCollum, Toccoa. He worked as a laborer in the communications field and was a 
member of the High Point Community Worship Center, where he was also a member 
of the youth group.

Survivors include four brothers, Michael Andrew McCollum, Toccoa, Travis Scott 
Catoe and Michael Catoe, both of Henderson, Tenn., and Cortney Catoe, Florida; 
two sisters, Angel Nichole Catoe and Kerri Elizabeth McCollum, both of Toccoa; 
grandparents, Martha Fleeman, Canon, and Margaret Morrison, Lexington, Tenn.; 
step-grandparents, Robert and Darlene McCollum, and Tommie McCollum, all of 
Toccoa. Mr. Catoe was preceded in death by grandfathers, Otis Carl Fleeman and 
Willie B. Catoe.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 23, in the chapel of Pruitt 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Jeryle Roach and Doug Benfield officiating. Burial 
was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
