Killed in Plane Crash Near Toccoa Sunday

Henry T. Critiz, age 25, was killed in a plane crash near Toccoa last Sunday 
afternoon at 5:06. Critiz was from Morris Field, Charlotte, N.C. and was a First 
lieutenant. He was flying alone and the cause of the crash was unknown.

The body was taken to his home in Arcadia, La., where his widow lived while he was 
in the service. Lieutenant Critiz went to Morris Field in August. He had won his 
wings at Maxwell Field, Alabama, on May 29, 1941. He was a student at Mississippi 
Institute of Aeronamatics at Jackson, Miss, when he entered the air corps.
