Mr. J. M. Dodd Dead.
Mr. James M. Dodd, aged about 61 years, died at his home near Bending Hickory, 
five miles north of this city, on Monday morning, from a stroke of paralysis, 
after an extended illness.
Mr. Dodd was a member of the Baptist church and was prominent in Masonic 
circles. He is survived by his wife and five children.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon by Rev. R. L. Whitmire, interment 
being made at Antioch church.

Additional Comments:
James Mandry Dodd was the son of William Dodd and Allie Whitehead. He was 
married to Rennie Stillwell
