Mr. Isbell was almost 67 years of age and has resided at the place where his family now lives practically all his life. He had been in ill health since the early spring, Constantly growing worse and his death was not unexpected. In 1883 he married Miss Mary Elizabeth Purcell. He is survived by his wife, five daughters and one son. The daughters are Misses Leila and Essie Isbell, of Atlanta, Mrs. R. C. McMurry, Madison, S.C., Mrs. Fred Duvall, Eastanollee, Mrs. Hillard Kinsey, Brookhaven, Ga., Mrs. George Looney, Salisbury, N.C.; the son, John Allen, Eastanollee. The funeral was held Wednesday morning from the Liberty Hill Baptist church, of which he had been a member for over 45 years, Dr. A. T. Cline officiating.
