The Toccoa Record
Miss Sallie Mae Kesler died SUnday, May 16, 1948 after a short illness at the 
Maxwell Homeplace, Mize, Georgia.  The daughter of the late George & Frances 
Miller Kesler, she was born Augusr 24, 1890 in Banks County, Georgia.  Miss 
Kesler had lived all of her life in Banks, Franklin & Stephens counties.  
Survivors include sisters, Miss Hattie Kesler and Miss Genie Kesler, of the 
home, Mrs. Noel (Kate) Cash of Toccoa, Jack Kesler of Baxley, Nate Kesler of 
Toccoa, and Lawrence Kesler of Toccoa. and a number of nieces and 
nephews.Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 18 at 2:00 pm from the 
Prospect Methodist Church with the Rev. J. H. Smith officiating.  Song 
selections are "I'm Going Home" and "Ill Fly Away".  Nephews will serve as 
pallbearers.  Interment in the church cemetery.
