Glenda Kennedy Moody, 59, of Cornelia, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at a 
private care facility.

Born on December 20, 1946, in Stephens County, she was the daughter of the 
late Ralph Edward and Jewell M. Thomas Kennedy. She was a member of the 
Cornelia Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jessie “Jim” Moody, Cornelia; daughter and son-
in-law, Tina Melissa and Dennis Walker, Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, 
Jimmy Glen and Jill Moody, Mt. Airy, Ronald James and Misty Moody, Alto; 
sisters, Barbara Hicks, Ann Latham, Ruth Bowen and Mary Lou Cash, all of 
Toccoa, Sara Mae Riddle, Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Hugh “Butch” Kennedy, 
Toccoa; five grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Moody, Mt. Airy, Brandy Marie Moody, 
Blake Moody and Bradley Moody, all of Alto, and Abby Walker, Cumming.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 30, at the Cornelia Christian Church 
with David Terrell officiating. Burial was in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
