Ramsay, a Former Toccoan, Dead Mr. Robert A. Ramsay died at his home in Greenville, S.C., early Wednesday morning, from a stoke of paralysis, after an illness of only one day. Mr. Ramsay had been engaged in the cotton business in Greenville for the past several years, and his friends were numbered by the score. He was born near Jarrett's bridge, on the Tugalo river, Aug. 11, 1868, and was a resident of Toccoa for quite a number of years during his young manhood. The funeral services were held this morning in Greenville, and interment will be made this afternoon at Toccoa cemetery. The deceased is a son of the late Captain A.H. Ramsay, and is survived by his wife, one daughter, Miss Cecile; a son, Mr. Inman (all of Greenville); his mother, Mrs. Zadie Ramsay, of Toccoa, and the following brothers and sisters: Misses Lida and L.D. Ramsay, Toccoa; Mrs. Willie Ramsay, Sumterville, Ala.; Mr. Doyle Ramsay, Birmingham, Ala.; Mr. Ed Ramsay, Meridian, Miss.; Mrs. Rollo Franklin, Lula; Mr. George Ramsay, Toccoa; Miss Mabel Ramsay, Atlanta.
