                June 5, 1984  Mrs. Stella Spiva Toccoa, Ga. 

Mrs. Stella Watkins Spiva, 78, of Wilton, Calif., Formerly of Toccoa, died Tuesday.

        Local survivors are sisters, Mrs. Viola Gastley, Mrs. Elizabeth
Blackburn, Mrs. Dora Burnette of Toccoa, Mrs. Callie Purgason of Lilburn, Mrs.
Rachel Gurley of Belton, S.C., Mrs. Vada Worley of Anderson, S.C.; brothers,
Dave Watkins of Eastanollee, H.L. (Josh) Watkins of Jonesboro, Coleman Watkins
of Greensboro, N.C.

        Services will be held Friday in California.

1.  JAMES ESLEY6 SPIVA  (THOMAS NEUTON5, ADNIRUM4, JESSE LEASON3, JAMES2 SPIVEY,
JONAS1 SPIVA) was born October 03, 1901 in Union County, Georgia., and died July
05, 1976.  He married STELLA TRETHA WATKINS December 18, 1921, daughter of JAMES
WATKINS and EFFIE WHITFIELD.  She was born October 12, 1906 in bible record.,
and died June 05, 1984 in Wilton, California.
