Freddie moved to Wilton with his parents. James and Stella Spiva in the 50's. He was the owner and operator of the Y-Not Club & ran it for 28 years. He is survived by daughter Benet Eiay Frank, husband Tom and son Alexander Thomas Spiva of Paulsbo WA. Stepdaughter Sandra Collins Officer and husband Perry, 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson of Dallas, TX. Sisters Lavada Johnson and Doris Spiva of Wilton; Sandra Fuller of Pocatello ID. 12 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sister Barbara Comish, Memorial Service will be Sunday January 4, 1998 at 4:00 at the Elk Grove Elks Lodge 9240 Survey Rd. Elk Grove Citizen * Friday, January 2, 1998 OBITUARIES Freddie Spiva Memorial services will be held Sunday, Jan. 4 for Freddie Thomas Spiva, owner of the Y-Not Club in Sheldon for 28 years, who died Dec. 28. Mr. Spiva was born Oct. 24, 1939 in Blairsville, GA. to James and Stella Spiva, and moved to Wilton with his family in the 1950s. He was Graduate of Dillard Elementary and Elk Grove High schools. After a stint with Aerojet and working in San Jose, he came back to Wilton and purchased the Y-Not Club, Mr. Spiva is survived by his daughter, Benet Ejay Frank, husband, Tom and son, Alexander Thomas born Christmas Eve, of Poulsbo, Wash; and his stepdaughter, Sandra Collins Officer and husband Perry, three daughters and one son, of Dallas, Texas. He was the brother of LaVada Johnson and Doris Spiva of Wilmont and Sandra Fuller of Pocatello, Idaho, and uncle to 12 nieces and nephews. His sister, Barbara Comish, preceded him in death. Mr. Spiva was a charter member of the Elk Grove Elks Lodge and memorial services will begin at 4 p.m. at the lodge, 9240 Survey Road, Elk Grove. Remembrances may be made to the Purple Pig charity in care of the Elks Lodge, P.O. Box 30, Elks Grove, CA 95759. He married STELLA TRETHA WATKINS December 18, 1921, daughter of JAMES WATKINS and EFFIE WHITFIELD. She was born October 12, 1906 in bible record., and died June 05, 1984 in Wilton, California.
