Stovall, 91, prominent business man and Confederate veteran, of Martin, died early Sunday night at his home, following an illness of about 10 days. Mr. Stovall, despite his advanced age, had been active in business circles and until a few days before his death had attended his daily duties at the Martin bank, of which he was president. He was the owner of a large plantation near Martin and had directed the work of a large number of workers in addition to his financial duties. Funeral services for Mr. Stovall will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning from the Clarks Creek church, with internment in the churchyard. Mr. Stovall is survived by two sons, W. B. Stovall, president of the Empire Trust company, Atlanta, and Tom Stovall, of Martin, and a daughter, Mrs. J. S. Brown, of Carnesville.
