She is survived by her husband, E. J. Whiten; two sisters; Misses Alice and Genie Elrod of Toccoa; one brother E. A. Elrod, of Lula, Georgia. Funereal services were held Monday afternoon at four o'clock in the Hunters Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Oscar Anderson, Rev. George Thurmond and Rev. John Moore, officiating. Interment was in Hunters Creek cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Whiten, Ed Whiten, Hoyt Whiten, Troy Whiten, Dwight Whiten and Bud Whiten, nephews of the deceased. Fred Northcutt and Son Mortuary were in charge of arrangements.
