Shirley Ann Whiten Died Thursday Night

Shirley Anne, the 14 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Whiten, died at 
a local hospital last Thursday night after a lingering illness. She was born 
November 8, 1942. Her farther is connected with the LeTourneau Company of 
Georgia. Beside her parents, she is survived by Mr. And Mrs. P. A. Whiten, of 
Carnesville, Georgia and Mr. And Mrs. N. C. Randall of Martin, Georgia. 
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 11 0’clock from Fairview 
Baptist church near Lavonia, Georgia with Rev. J. H. Crunkleton officiating. 
The deal family had charge of the music. Interment was in the churchyard, with 
Acree-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of arrangements.
