This indenture made this the twelfth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine between James S. Lunsford of the one part and Isaac COE both of the same County, Witnesseth that James S. Lunsford for and in the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted and sold unto Isaac W. Coe his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of Land containing one hundred acres more or less Known in the _____ of said County by number Two Hundred and fifty in the north half of said Lot in the Twenty fourth district of said county to him the said Coe his heirs and assigns. To have and to hold all and singular the rights members and appurtenances there unto belonging to these own proper use benefit and behoof for ever in fee simple and I the said Lunsford will forever warrant and defend the right and title against myself my heirs and assigns and against the claims of all other persons what ever.---In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this day and above written.
