The land is known as Lot number 250 * * in the north half of District 24 in originally Lee * * County now Stuart. * * * ********************************************************* Georgia Stewart County. This indenture made and agreed upon this twenty ninth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty between Isaac W. Coe of the county and state aforesaid of the one part and Thomas Peake of the same State and County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Isaac W. Coe for and in consideration of the sum of of one hundred and twenty five dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained and sold unto the said Thomas Peake all that tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County and State aforesaid being the north half of Lot No two hundred & fifty in the Twenty fourth district originally Lee now Stewart County having such shapes and forming as would appear in the plat annexed to the grant Containing One Hundred 1 1/4 acres and the said Isaac W. Coe for himself and his heirs will for ever warrant and defend the above tract of Land in fee simple unto the said Thomas Peake and his heirs for ever and against the lawfull right and title of such the said Isaac W. Coe and all and every other person or persons what soever. In Witness whereof I the said Isaac W. Coe have here unto set his hand and seal the day and date above written.
