Tait December 29, 2003, 1:55 pm Twentieth District of Originally Lee now Stewart Co., GA Written: October 14 1835 Recorded: October 17 1835 Stewart, GEORGIA Deed Book E, page 98 & 99 Recorded October 17 l835 State of Georgia This Indenture made this 14th day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and thirty five and of American Independence between William Tate of the County of Barber and State of Alabama of the one part and part in Pantin Louphries of the county of Stewart aforesaid of the other part, (?) that the said William Tate for and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the selling and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge that granter bargains sold and by these presents both grant bargain sell and deliver confirm and convey unto the said Pantin Louphries his heirs {?}all that tract or parcel of land and being i the twentieth district of originally Lee now the county of Stewart and known and distinguished in the {?} of said district by the number one hundred and forty eight (148)containing two hundred two half acres be the same more or less. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Pantin Louphries his heirs and assign to gather with all and singular the appurtenances{??}giving and his own proper benefit and behold forever in {?} simple and the said William Tate for himself his heirs executors and administrating the said bargain premises unto the said Pantin Loumphies his heirs and assigns will {?} and forever the {?} right and title thereof against himself and against the claims of all {?}.
