Stewart Webster Journal, January 23, 1925, Friday
                MR. JACK LIPSEY DIES
  Mr. Jack Lipsey, a well known citizen of the Red Hill and Brooklyn 
communities died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Applewhite, last Friday 
night.  Funeral services were conducted at Red Hill Cemetery Sunday afternoon 
by Rev. G. N. Rainy of Richland.
  Mr. Lipsey has resided around Red Hill and Brooklyn practically all his life 
and was well known throughout Stewart and Webster.
  He has been in ill health for a number of years and lived among his several 
children.
  He had a number of friends, who will regret to learn of his death.
