Death of Miss Evie Matthews

Miss Evie Matthews, of Auburn, Ala., died at the home of Mr. James Wright in 
Stewart County, last Saturday after an illness of one month of typhoid fever.  
Miss Evie was a daughter of Mr. J.F. Matthews and moved from that section where 
she died, to Auburn several years ago.  She was on a visit to the family of Mr. 
Wright where she was taken sick.  She was a young lady, with many Christian 
graces, and her relatives and friends deeply mourn her untimely end.
