Another scrap to add to the Ruffin Family. My Aunt Nanny Lee, May 1897 Ga.
The Stewart-Webster Journal, Richland Georgia, November 17,1966. 

Mrs Jessie Joshua Stephen, 69 of Richland  died at 11:20 Saturday. Funeral will 
be Monday 2:30 at the Red Hill Congregation Christian Church. Four 
sons:Walter ,Atl ,Paul, Richland, David,Sulpher Springs, Tx.Robert, Charlotte, 
NC; Two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Harry and Mrs.Frances McNeil both of Richland, 
Ga. 
 She married Mr Stephens of Stewart Co. in 1916 an made their home in Red Hill 
Community. Mr Stephen died in 1945, some five years later she stayed with David 
Stephen and wife in Marshall, Tx.for about 12 years.

Additional Comments:
Nanny Lee Ruffin b. 3 May 1897 in Muscogee Co, GA was the daughter of 
John David and Frances Theodore Devinney (Deveney).

Granddaughter of William Ritchie Ruffin and Nancy Nix/Mix?
