C. E. Woodruff Dies In LaGrange Hospital was Lumpkin Native.
Charles Ezekiel Woodruff, 79, of Pine Mountain, native of Stewart County and 
former resident of Lumpkin died Monday at City Hospital at LaGrange.
Born February 16, 1886 in Lumpkin, Mr. Woodruff was the son of the late 
William Henry and Mary Turner Woodruff.  He was a member of First Baptist 
Church of Pine Mountain.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rossie Stephens Woodruff, Pine Mountain 
formerly of Richland; a daughter Dr. Marguerite Woodruff, Macon; a son, Horace 
Woodruff, Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Bill Brooks, Miami, Fl; and Mrs. 
Madelle Banks, Tuscaloosa, Al.
Funeral was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 6 at the graveside in Union 
Baptist Cemetery in Jones Crossroad Community of Harris County.  The Rev. 
Milton Rexrode, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pine Mountain, officiated.
