James Monroe CLEVELAND was born in Franklin County, Georgia 2 May 1819. 
James died 8 May 1905 in Hannahatchee, Stewart County Georgia, at 86 years of 
age. He married Catherine WRIGHT in probably, South Carolina, 25 December 1839. 
Catherine was born in probably, South Carolina 10 December 1822. Catherine was 
the daughter of Thomas WRIGHT and Martha CLEVELAND. Catherine died 21 August 
1907 in Hannahatchee, Stewart County Georgia, at 84 years of age. 
He served in the military during war time 1860 in North Carolina.
