Between Thomas } Hancock of the county of Clark & state aforesaid of the one part & John Westly Fraser of the county of Sumter & state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Thomas Hancock hath for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the said John Westly Frasier his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated lying & being in the county of formerly Lee noe Sumter and in the fifteenth district (15) of said county. And known & designated in the plan of said fifteenth by number two hundred & fifty five (255) containing two hundred two & a half acres more or less and having such shape form & marks as will now fully appear by references being had to the plat & grant of the same. To have & to hold said tract or parcel of land unto the said John westly Fraser his heirs & assigns together with all & singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any means belonging to his & their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple. And the said Thomas Hancock doth for his heirs executors & administrators the said bargained premises unto the said John Westly Fraser his heirs & assigns will warrant & forever defend the right & title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Thomas Hancock hath herewith set his hand & seal this day & year above written. Signed sealed & delivered in presence of T.
