The endless chain business still finds victims that even a gold brick would not catch, and the Times Recorder was told yesterday of a scheme that is being successfully worked here just now. It is on the "endless chain: principle, and it costs $25.00 to get in on the ground floor. Several estimable ladies here, believing the alluring promises held out, have sent this amount each to the headquarters of the concern and are patiently waiting for the golden harvest they feel sure will soon be theirs. Some of them have already been assured that their hope is a pipe dream only, but they hold steadfastly to the belief that they will get rich quick and already are busily engaged writing letters in the "endless chain," which consists of more ink than of chink.
