THE CARTRIDGE EXPLODED

Americus, Ga., April 12 (Special)---Miss Bessie Leaman, a well known young lady 
of this city, swept a pistol cartridge into a fire this morning, when it 
exploded and struck her in the face under the left eye,glancing downward and 
coming out just above her mouth, inflicting an ugly, though not a serious 
wound.
